Correspondence, photographs, negatives, medals, ephemera, and a yearbook relating to Schneider's participation in World War II, chiefly concerning the invasion of Italy. Also contains correspondence used in the making of a documentary on novelist Joseph Heller, a comrade. Photographs include B-25 Mitchell bombers in action, Mount Vesuvius.
